GOP House members are scared to death of the crazy wing to the base of the Republican Party. The "birther" nuts are on the fringe, but they are loud and are kindred spirits to that other gang of aggrieved conservatives--the tea partiers. There are elected members of Congress who are playing to this crowd by their failure to refute the lunatic "birther" complaints.
Who the hell elected these people?
