Fake Airman and international laughingstock George W. Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" five years ago today.
It wasn't, of course, and we're still there.
As of Monday in Iraq and Afghanistan, there are 4,546 dead Americans, 31,590 wounded, 10,180 injured, and 28,451 reported ill. 299,585 soldiers have received treatment from the Veteran's Administration, and 245,034 have filed disability claims.
These figures are from the Department of Defense and the VA.
George W. Bush is a lame-duck, and still lives in the White House. His successor(s)will have to clean up after him.
Heckuva job.
