See ya Sunday.

From the New York Times:
BOSTON — The rain had stopped, the field was nearly ready, and all of the players were waiting under cover to resume a tense game at Fenway Park. All but the YankeesAlex Rodriguez, who stood in shallow left field, by the foul line, practicing his swing.

Rodriguez waited 131 minutes for his chance at Jonathan Papelbon, the fearsome closer for the Boston Red Sox. Last June, he had beaten Papelbon with a homer here in the ninth inning. Now he would bat with two on, two out and his team trailing by a run in the eighth.

The chance lasted just three pitches: fastball, splitter, fastball, inning over. Papelbon fanned Rodriguez and struck out two in a scoreless ninth as the Red Sox prevailed, 4-3, behind a homer and three runs batted in from Manny Ramirez.

Papelbon. Youch. And Manny being Manny. See ya Sunday...
