Dammit! I completely forgot to watch last night, what with Dhani Jones Tackles the Globe, and 24...
Sounds like a better game than their semifinal- which I did watch.
I wish I could have gone to it. Helluva spectacle--sort of a cross between a soccer crowd (though w/out hooligans) and baseball. Flags waving in the stands, huge rivalry, extra innings--Damn, I love baseball!
AL or NL?... Maybe a wager is in order.. I take the Tigers.
Yankee fan. I love the classic NL style, though--hate the DH. Grew up an Expo fan, too.
But I'm pissed about that new billion-dollar, Disneyfied Yankee Stadium--hate everything it stands for.
More and more, I find myself in the Dodger camp. I've lived here for 22 years; time to root, root, root for the home team.
Also love Mike Scioscia's style w/ the Angels--very NL. Too bad they're in Orange County...
