It's a tad early for the Pres to be talking up the herb. Give it a few years, things will settle down. Until then though, black market will have to do.
I don't agree. Its prohibition has already been a tremendous waste of law enforcement resources, it has clogged the court system and jails and its medical usage has been stunted. Add to that the ridiculous categorizing of hemp--its non-stoner cousin--as a drug and it's long past time for this country to grow up and legalize marijuana.
The "black market" is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
