They held a memorial for the incomparable Studs Terkel last month in New York. Chicago was Studs's town, but this writer, historian, actor, radio man, and raconteur had friends everywhere, so I guess they had to meet somewhere.
I missed the airing on C-SPAN earlier this month, but found it on their Video Library site.
Studs passed away on Halloween at 96, and there will never--no way, no how--be another like him.
