A funny thing happened on the way to a dream World Series match-up.The Phillies stunned the Dodgers 7-5 to take a 3-1 lead in the NLCS, while the Rays rammed the Red Sox 9-1 to go up 2-1 in the ALCS.
The NLCS has a day off, while Game 4 of the ALCS is scheduled for tonight in Boston.
A Dodgers/Red Sox World Series sounds a helluva lot better than the alternative, doesn't it?
