Rachel Rocks.


     I've been a Rachel Maddow fan for quite some time now, so I was happy when MSNBC had the good sense to give her a timeslot all her own.
     Maddow isn't given to wild-eyed rants, yelling at guests, or even the type of high-minded indignation practiced by her MSNBC mentor, Keith Olbermann.
     She has carved out her own spot; a punditry based on factual insights and sprinkled with an attractive lightness of spirit, especially noticeable in the dark worlds of know-nothing talk-radio loudmouths and demagoguing cable TV blowhards.
     If you are a political junkie and haven't caught her show, give it a whirl.
