Gas prices are at an all-time high, the economy is tanking, people are losing their homes, we are fighting two wars while cutting taxes for the rich, we've decided that torture is the American Way, and the rest of the world is thinking that we all might be crazy.
So at last night's debate, Charlie Gibson and former Clinton Administration official George Stephanopoulos allowed questions about whether Obama "believes in the American flag", if Rev. Wright loves "America as much as you do", and a question about Bill Ayers, who 40 years ago had ties to the Weather Underground (when Obama was 8 years old), and with whom Obama has previously met.
That last question apparently was inspired by insipid FOX News shout-fest host and WABC talk-radio fool Sean Hannity, when Stephanopoulos was a guest on his playground-style radio show recently.
A bunch of ridiculous, childish questions concerning tabloid-level issues.
Thanks, ABC News.
The ladies on The View would have done a better job.
