CAUTION!: The "Straight Talk Express" is on the road, and he's got PRIORS!

From the AP:

Republican presidential candidate John McCain on Sunday called Democratic rival Barack Obama insensitive to poor people and out of touch on economic issues.

The GOP nominee-in-waiting rapped his Democratic rival for opposing his idea to suspend the tax on fuel during the summer, a proposal that McCain believes will particularly help low-income people who usually have older cars that guzzle more gas.

"I noticed again today that Sen. Obama repeated his opposition to giving low-income Americans a tax break, a little bit of relief so they can travel a little further and a little longer, and maybe have a little bit of money left over to enjoy some other things in their lives," McCain said. "Obviously Sen. Obama does not understand that this would be a nice thing for Americans, and the special interests should not be dictating this policy."

"Straight Talk's" wife is worth over $100 million. This new-fangled right-wing Christian reportedly dumped his first wife to get to all that beer money (less the expense for her horrific plastic surgery, of course.)

Barack Obama has said that he and his wife Michelle's student loans were finally paid off through book sales. When they were in their 40's.

And maybe Barack Obama is too nice to say it, but I'm not: Obama is a black man, brought up by a single white mother, and he's the "elitist" who is "insensitive to poor people"?

McCain is a media darling, so I'll dumb it down like they do: "Maverick" is to "straight talk" as Lindsay Lohan is to sobriety: both bad actors, both playing to fawning cameras in roles much better played by anybody else.

McCain doesn't  support Jim Webb's proposal for a 21st century G.I. Bill.

He says he's against torture, yet sided with Bush/Cheney on its very use.

His party talks tough about "supporting the troops". They haven't, and he doesn't.

Ol' "Straight Talk" deflected questions about his record on the Bush administration's tax cuts - he initially opposed them but now supports extending them - by again criticizing Obama.

"Sen. Obama wants to raise the capital gains tax, which would have a direct effect on 100 million Americans," McCain said. "That means he has no understanding of the economy and that he is totally insensitive to the hopes and dreams and ambitions of 100 million Americans who will be affected by his almost doubling of the capital gains tax."

Of course, all this was said on the "War Network", or "GOP TV",  AKAFOX News.

Home court.

The 521's will do his bidding come fall. But Ol' "Straight Talk" will try to tell you that he disagrees with all the shit these soft-money bastards kick up at you as they fertilize the lies they hope will morph into the de facto third administration of George W. Bush.

And then, onward (Christian Soldiers), maybe for "100 years".

There's no doubt McCain's military experiences were heroic. This isn't about that. This is about the fact that John McCain is full of shit right now.

This is your country.
