(AP) The woman who starred as Mary Ann on the television show "Gilligan's Island" is serving six months probation as a result of her arrest last fall in eastern Idaho and subsequent guilty plea to reckless driving.
Dawn Wells, 69, was taken into custody after being caught with marijuana in her vehicle while driving home after a surprise birthday party on October 18.
Wells pleaded guilty as part of a deal last month to one count of reckless driving.
