GDL/LAX: delayed for an hour...

My flight to LAX is delayed. Can't be because of the weather here; it is magnificent.
I think Charles was onto something when he decided to spend a few months in Guadalajara. I haven't had a chance yet to explore the city to any extensive degree, but I like what I see. I'd be quite comfortable roaming around here. It's got a good vibe.
My next TPE trip isn't going to be Monday, as was bandied about. They aren't sure when it'll be, and that's fine. I need some sun and some sleep.
The guy in one of the folk art shops here at the airport remembered my name when I walked in today. I took a picture of the shop and will upload it later. It's got "Jules" written all over it!
Both GDL and TPE have great airports. Before I left TPE the other night, I sat in a Zen garden and received a free massage (it was a massage chair, but it was free and it was incredible.) It felt like a thousand loving fingers were gently kneading me. And I needed it. Absolutely awesome, and all for a duty-free shop token, and I didn't even shop at the duty-free.
GDL is just a really cool airport. Lots of natural light, great shops, and I had a nice carne asada for lunch. Muy bueno!
Next stop is that trash heap also known as LAX. Jeez, it's L.A.; give those terminals a facelift!

I've been waiting for this update and have been tuning in to the blog constantly! Good thing you're not leaving again tomorrow since you aren't even back in LA yet!
